The Emma L. Wilson King Foundation is building community partnerships to restore faith in East St. Louis’s crown jewel, 130-acre Jones Park. The Foundation’s Buy-a-Brick Campaign invites individuals, families, churches, organizations, and businesses to help fund the first phase of construction and restore this treasured landmark.

Our principal project involves restoring the magnificent lily pond fountain at Jones Park, which has stood for 80 long years. This project is not only about rebuilding the fountain but also revitalizing the community, providing a breathtaking green space that will leave you spellbound for generations to come.
We take great pride in providing financial assistance to talented high school seniors. Each year, we award four or more college scholarships to deserving students as a part of the prestigious Emma L. Wilson King and James Henry King scholarship funds. Our primary objective is to empower and support young individuals in their pursuit of higher education..
We are honored to distribute 100+ coats to elementary and middle school children in East St. Louis each year, having provided over 1,200 to date. Our initiative ensures that underprivileged children stay warm during winter, and the community’s support has been remarkable.
